Greetings Uptonites!

Summer means many things. Warm weather, outdoor activities, and more free time, especially for those of us in education. With a renewed sense of optimism, I hope to complete the second issue of the Agreement this month. What excuse can I have not to? Sure, there’s still oodles of work to be done in the house since our repairs finished later than planned, and the yard, well that’s just a mess, and a vacation is deserved, if not yet planned. But, ¬†more than anything, I want to spend time telling the stories of Cap’n Gown, Lt. Maxwell, and Slugger. I hope you’re still enjoying the work I’ve done so far.

If you do, please feel free to offer some encouragement. Tell me to get drawing, and to spend less time cleaning. Thanks to Wallace, Jamie, and Moti for their comments. Speaking of Moti Friedman, you’ll notice I’ve added his variant cover to the second issue. It’s a clever re-imagining of the original cover I drew. Get ready to hear Moti’s name. He’s going to make a splash soon.

I’ll wrap up my ramblings. I have some pages to draw, and a cat who hates when I type.

Until next time,

Rah Rah Upton!
